1、 Rated current: rated current is the most important standard when selecting electronic harness. It is indicated by the amperage of each circuit. It is a standard to measure the amount of current that can pass through the paired terminals. When the ambient temperature is 72 ° f (22 °), the temperature rise does not exceed 85 ° f (30 ° C). Then, due to the heat (temperature rise) of adjacent terminals, the current level decreases or the number of circuits in a given housing is adjusted.

Circuit density is a relative measure of the number of circuits that an electronic harness can contain per square inch. It is relative. Using this method, we can objectively recognize the space requirements or standards of one coupling series and another coupling series.

4、 Rated operating voltage: most applications are within the 250V rating range of standard electronic harness, such as the rated current of 5.0A AC / DC supplied by ch3.96 wire to plate coupling. The rated voltage is 250V AC / DC, which is applicable to AC and DC voltages. Generally, higher rated voltage is obtained by completely enclosing the male and female terminals in the housing separately. Those covered and fully blocked contacts also provide protection for metal terminals during assembly and handling of wire couplings.

7、 Housing and terminal materials and termination plating: materials and plating are generally one of the final primary options. Most electronic harnesses are made of nylon plastic. The flammability grade of the nylon is generally 94V-0 and UL94V-2. The higher 94V-0 grade indicates that nylon will pause faster than 94v-2 nylon (in case of fire). 94V-0 grade can not infer higher operating temperature rating, but higher flame retardancy. For most applications, 94v-2 material is sufficient.
